My 2024 Shoe Collection
Our Legacy - Camion Boot
These boots are worth every penny - top-tier quality at a reasonable price point. Some call them trendy, but that's missing the point. They're popular because they're genuinely great boots that look fantastic and last long.
Grenson - Jonah Moc-Toe Boot
Well-crafted moc toe boots with solid construction, but they've been collecting dust lately. They deserve more wear time, but somehow other pairs keep taking priority in my rotation.
Clarks - Wallabee Boot
These stand out in my collection with their unique color and distinctive silhouette. Super comfortable on the feet, though they can be challenging to style. Definitely not your everyday boot, but that's part of their charm.
Duke & Dexter - Penny Loafer
The name might not be official, but these loafers definitely have that piano-inspired look going for them. They're a conversation starter and add something special to my collection.
G.H. Bass - Weejun
Classic penny loafers elevated by beautiful contrast stitching. The narrow fit can be a bit uncomfortable during long days, but they're still a solid choice. Should've gone for the wide fit version.
New Balance - 990 V5
These sneakers are absolute classics for good reason. They nail that perfect balance between comfort and style, though I probably should give them more time in the rotation. Just consistently reliable.
ASICS - GEL Kayano 14
Got these in Metallic Plum, and they're basically the affordable version of those hyped JJJound collabs. Smart purchase that proves you don't need to spend a grand for great design.
Nike x Bode - Astrograbber
Lucky raffle win that brings something unique to my collection. They run a bit small which is unfortunate, but the design makes up for it. Need to wear these more often.
Salomon - XT-6
Recent addition to the collection but given how close i live to Fitzroy, you know I got to stay Naarmed and ready. They're technically impressive while looking great, hitting that sweet spot between functionality and style.
Rick Owens - Ramones
Impulse bought these during a rough patch in 2020, needing something to lift my spirits. These are the most i’ve ever spent on a single pair of shoes, and one of only two pairs from that time is still in regular rotation. I do rate them highly.
Dr. Martens - 1461 Bex Derby
These started outside my comfort zone but evolved into a perfect fit for my style. The journey with these shoes shows how personal taste can grow and change over time.
Adidas - Superstar
Chose these over Sambas because I preffered their shape. They've become my go-to casual sneakers, working perfectly with pretty much any casual outfit. Simple but effective.
Pennon - 4-Eye Derby
These fit like a dream and barely needed breaking in. The toe shape is perfect, and they're so good I could see myself buying these repeatedly over the years. Just nail everything.
Pennon - Wide-Toe Loafer
Perfect work shoes with beautiful pebbled leather that adds nice texture. They're comfortable enough for long days at the office and look professional without being boring.
Adidas - Gazelle
Finally added some color to my mostly neutral collection. They've been a fantastic addition to my summer rotation, bringing some much-needed vibrancy to my everyday looks.
Pennon - High Boot Low
These boots look amazing but run seriously large. If you're considering them, definitely size down at least one full size. Great design once you get the sizing right.
Find on - Pennon.kr
Basketcase Gallery - Footslog Mule
Had a rough start with slipping issues and cracking leather, but they've broken in nicely over time. Now they're in regular rotation and prove that patience pays off.
Birkenstock Boston - Suede
Four years strong and still going - these are probably the best value in my collection. They've outlasted many other pairs and remain comfortable and stylish. True wardrobe workhorses.
